This isnt about representation in fiction its about ideology and twisting words and shoehorning agenda into history, changing history to suit faux-diversity. Dunkirk was BRITISH soldiers in FRANCE two extremely white nations, even more so in those days. Hardly going against “realism” here. Black panther is not diverse its black, which is fine, refreshing even but thats not what diverse means. People arent complaining that black panther is black, they are complaining about the dumb ass response the “diversity is my life” crowd are giving it.
Responding to your linked post, which media are you talking about? Western media? The media shown to predominantly white countries? Of course it is! How much do you want to bet that asian media has fuck all white people in it.
Infact with the USA as an example, the black population makes up 12-14% as best as i can find out with a quick search. Do you think there are more or less than 13% of named characters in films that are black? And thats obviously excluding films where diversity is not a focus for obvious reasons (see, dunkirk above)

So dont go trying to throw a full spiel about diversity and disproportionate representation in media when reality disagrees with you even excluding historically white films. Understand that the world isnt a perfect split of races, genders in all countries and all professional fields.
